EGO CURE is a narrative virtual realityinteractiveshort blending 360 footage with 3d motion capture animation. Following a contemporary dance choreographer’s struggle to create a contemporary masterpiece while at the same time facing her own inner demons. The movie is set in a world where the commodification of art has come to its technological conclusion: if an artist is unable or unwilling to provide a commissioned art piece, the investor has the right to extract it from their unconscious mind. The project was made and still in on-going polishing using Unreal Engine, RED Epic Dragon cameras, NUKE and other video tech softwares.
Premiered at Kiasma Museum 2017, Helsinki - FI. Roles: Unreal Engine design and development, technical direction and coordination, Enactive Avatar design, interaction and R&D. Tools: Unreal Engine, Oculus, Photogrammetry, Motion Capture, Autodesk 3Ds Max, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop.
