Hello, I'm Victor Pardinho,

I was born in Brazil but currently living in Helsinki, Finland. I work mainly with audiovisual experiences and real-time technologies, making use of different techniques like projection mapping, interactive installations, video art, filmmaking, virtual reality and games. I consider myself a hybrid between an artist/designer with many technological skills and through all my professional life I've been specializing in combining art/design skills with programming and technical knowledge. I also like to teach and give courses and workshops especially in the fields of audiovisual technologies and new media design. I've been working with design studios, artists and research groups with projects presented in countries like Brazil, Portugal, Germany, USA, South Korea and Finland.

Master Degree in New Media Design and Production - Aalto University | Helsinki, Finland. Researcher at Crucible Studios, NeuroCine & Virtual Cinema Lab, Aalto University.

Bachelor in Visual Communication/Graphic Design - Senac University Center | Sao Paulo, Brasil.

Student Research Project: Prototyping and Avaliation of Tridimensional Interactions in Augmented Reality and Virtual Environments (Interaction Design), two years. In collaboration with LPAI - Laboratory for Re- search in Interactive Environments and Interlab - Interactive Technologies Laboratory of the Department of Computer Engineering and Digital Systems of the University of São Paulo.

Thesis: Holoface: COSMOS - Design for Environments of Holographic Interactivity. (Senac, FAU - Poli/USP).

Design/art, research and development at Crucible Studios & Virtual Cinema Lab, Helsinki.
Research group at Aalto University, working in new ways of storytelling in New Media. Producing hybrids between Cinema and Games, art installations and virtual reality.

Design/art, research and development at DMV22 Art Collective, São Paulo.
Researching and developing audiovisual and interactive experiences with performing arts for self directed projects and performances running and in connection with artists of Brazil and Europe.

Design/art, research and development at BijaRi Collective, São Paulo.
Researching and developing audiovisual and interactive experiences for brands like Absolut, TEDx, HBO, festivals and art galleries like Rock in Rio and Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo.

TREPP, multimedia performance with DMV22 Collective and Octocto Orchestra, Munich/São Paulo.
Performance that blends contemporary dance, live music, live vjing and projection mapping, selected for res- idency in Munich and granted for touring in several places of Germany, Portugal and Brazil.

VRUM + VRUMvrumzinho, multimedia performance with DMV22 Collective, São Paulo.
Two performances, one for adults and one for children, that blends contemporary dance and live painting granted by Caixa Cultural to be presented more than fifty times through several regions and capitals of Brazil.
